Trinity, Flower Mound and Byron Nelson are off to perfect starts after two matchdays in District 5-6A boys soccer action.  The early result have left the traditional powers of Hebron, Marcus and Southlake looking up from an early hole, but with plenty of time to fix it.

The most impressive start belongs to Trinity who are still unbeaten on the year.  The Trojans went on the road and won both their district matches this week.  Tuesday they won 1-0 at Marcus with a goal from Kevin Navarrete in the final ten minutes and then followed it up Friday night with a 4-0 thrashing of Lewisville.  Impressive, Impressive, Impressive!

Byron Nelson took care of lowly LD Bell on Tuesday and then turned around and defeated the defending district champions Hebron on Friday night 3-1 in with a wonderful performance.  Flower Mound is also off to a perfect start with wins over 2-1 wins over Lewisville and Southlake.

Looking ahead Tuesday holds a couple of important matchups.  A desperate Southlake squad will travel to Trinity.  It will be the home opener for the Trojans and an opportunity to solidify their place atop the district standings.  It is almost a must for Southlake to get a result as they could be out of the title race after only three match days with another loss.

The big game pits unbeaten Byron Nelson traveling to Flower Mound.  A big early season advantage to the winner of this one!  Marcus hosts Lewisville as the Marauders look to keep pace with the three unbeaten.  Hebron will also look to keep pace with the top as they face off against LD Bell.
