As a famous Dallas Cowboys player once said "Get your popcorn".  Mexico and Croatia are playing at At&T Stadium right here in Arlington on March 27th!  El Tri are facing some tough competition as they prepare for the summer World Cup in Russia and Croatia is another step towards a successful trip this summer.

With the game falling during the FIFA international window, Mexico manager Juan Carlos Osorio will be able to not only have his Europe-based players who make up the bulk of his squad but also see how they perform against top talent like Real Madrid's Luka Modric and Barcelona's Ivan Rakitic. So the stats for both sides should be on hand!  “It will be a fantastic occasion," Mexico manager Juan Carlos Osorio said. "Croatia is one of the best teams in Europe to play offensive football and for this time they will have all the best players, including Modric, so it will be a fantastic opportunity for us to compete face-to-face in our way of playing against their way, which is very similar. I think the fans will enjoy it."

The Mexican federation has attempted to find opponents that will play in a similar style to the ones they'll see in World Cup group play against Germany, Sweden and South Korea. Osorio said the Croatian team looks for the game in a way similar to Mexico, but also believes the style will somewhat simulate the first group game against Germany.
